Hi this is only my second post. I just need some help to get through to dinner time. Feeling tired, hungry, and just generally a bit "meh". I have tried several things and am trying to stick to a not eating all day until dinner plan, but just need some help today! Think I need some inspiration. Also stupidly just got on the scales and they had gone up even though I feel so empty (how can that be right???) Also still waiting for some "mental clarity" as still pretty ditzy he he! Any help would help....

Can you get out for a walk? Often some fresh air will clear your head a little. If you really feel hungry, have a few cut up veggie sticks - low in calories, and will give your stomach something to work on. Not long til dinner, you can do this x
Thank you for replying. No, can't go out at the moment as the kids have just come in from school, otherwise that would really help to take my mind off it. I will have a look - think I have some celery somewhere. You are right - not long til dinner. Think it may be difficult to cook for everyone today though. I keep looking at various foods wondering how many calories if I gave them a quick lick!!! Thanks for your encouragement - you are right - I CAN do this x
I reckon I can safely say we've all been there. It gets easier once you're in a routine that works for you.
use some time to search the internet for easy fast day recipes that can be made for the whole family, read some blogs with 5:2 recipes in them, there are quite a few now. I love to pin recipes instead of eating, gives me something to look forward to later.nn
Thank you! Should really be doing some housework, which would have taken my mind off food! That is a good plan. Not long to go until I can eat now - not sure why it has been so difficult today, I just feel really distracted for some reason x
