Delighted or Disappointed?

Yes, yes, I know the scales are there to confirm our progress and give us a number to work with but I see my body changing faster than my scales do.

Not to mention that my belt skipped two holes...

My fantasy is to board a plane to London in my size 8 skinny jeans from New Look. I'd be happy with one of them happening but if I manage two, I think that they would need surgery to remove the smile from my face!!!
If I got into skinny size 8 jeans I would need surgery as well but not to get the smile off my face but to get the jeans off me!
Haaaaaaaaaa haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!

Bless you, you had me laughing sooooooo hard!!!
I don't weigh myself, in fact I don't even own a scale. I find that if I do weigh myself I tend to stress on the amount I haven't lost, or to celebrate excessively the amount I did lose. So I go by how I look and I let the Dr weigh me when I go for a visit.
When are you coming to London? I hope you can fit into them! Good luck :)
I am also aiming for a better body shape than a lower weight. My bust and hip measurements have gone down already, but my waist is determined to stay the same - for now!
Radcam, thank God my doctor seems no particular interest in weighing me. I'd hate to weigh in front of someone, especially in the evening and with my clothes on!

IcePrincess, I wish I knew when. The soonest possible, I'll say...

Navwoman, don't worry, for some crazy reason the area where we want to lose from the most, is the last the decides to do us the favour!!!
I agree with you TML13 - I got on the scales for my weekly weigh-in this morning and had only lost 0.4lbs. To say I was a tad disappointed was an understatement... but then I thought... I'll measure my waist, as I did feel thinner, and I'd lost another inch of my waist, so three inches in three weeks... yay :-)

So, moral... measuring rather than weighing can put that smile back on your face :-)

Happy fasting all :-)
Since I don't own a tape measure (how bad am I?) I rely on my clothes to do the measuring, LOL! Dropping a size is certainly a good indicator, LOL!
