Delighted or Disappointed?

I've been doing this since January, and thought it was getting easier....today has been awful! Probably not helped by the fact that I have recently spoken with two people (one close friend, one acquaintance) who have started 5:2 after speaking with me. Both have been doing it for about two weeks and apparently find it so easy!

Which is great for them, don't get me wrong, but today it's making me feel pathetic and useless, I'm finding today so so tough. Maybe I'm not cut out to do this, just stay a fatty.

Going to cook dinner now. Sorry just needed to vent.
Good Luck with rest of today, thats why Im here right now, tricky time of day for me. Its the time where I will stay on track or head for a binge ..lol. So getting online and reading the posts certainly keeps me focussed. I'm off to feed the dogs now instead of me! :clover:
If it's any consolation, Swedey I'm on my 3rd one & this is the hardest yet....but I'm determined. Hang in there. You can do it!!
I had a really crap fast day last week. Felt terrible, hungry all day, ended up feeling headachey and sick and went to bed. After some advice on here I moved on and had a much better fast day later in the week.

What I'm trying to say is, don't beat yourself up about it, different circumstances can make some fast days much harder than others. Think of every fast day as an achievement - you've been doing this since January, that's very impressive!
Don't beat yourself up Swedey, look at your stats and how well you've done so far! Keep your chin up, virtual hug on its way to you x
Don't be too hard on yourself
We all have ups and downs, good and bad diet days
For me it helps to just take a day at a time without thinking too much of the future and wondering if its working.
I also made a commitment to myself to give it a go for 4 months then review things. I find writing down the commitment gives it more power in a sense
Good luck
Thank you so much. Feel better reading your answers, and food bubbling away.

Think it was a mistake trying to go all day through to supper. Don't think it suits me, back to brunch on Wednesday!
Of course you are cut out for it, look what you have achieved so far. Its just a Monday downer, I had one last week. Don't worry you are doing great. :like:
Swedey we all have days like this, glad you were feeling better by the end of the day. Hang in there!
