Day 5 - 3rd Fast. 7lb lost

Day 5 - 3rd Fast lost half a stone.
Now I am starting from a base of nearly 18 stone 5 and I have got 9 stone to lose. I do tend to lose a shed load the first week of any diet so will be interested to see what happens in subsequent weeks.

The reason I'm sharing is just for all the folk with loads of weight to lose because I'm hoping (and praying) that we don't necessarily conform to the 1lb a week average. Aiming to do another 3:4 next week and then will probably settle into 5:2 from there onwards. Keep you posted

Well done Mummydog and thanks for sharing. It will be interesting to see how it goes. Have you checked the tracker to see what the loss is for people with similar stats to you? I'll maybe do it later when I've done some sensible work...

Congratulations! I also have a lot to lose. I'm hoping that this will be a new way of life for me for the health benefits as well as weight loss. I've not weighed myself yet as this is only my second fast day. I'm planning on 4:3 for the moment. Is it best to fast for 24hrs? I have split my calorie intake over a period of around 6 hours. Having lunch and dinner. I don't know if I could do 24 hours...but I could try if it helps!
