Delighted to be losing again
08 May 2013, 14:50
I lost about 75lbs doing a sort of calorie shifting, where I ate different amounts each day. It was complicated, and took a lot of effort. There were some similarities to 5:2 in that some days I ate less so on other days I could eat more. It just was never so low as a fast day. As I lost weight the amount of calories I was able to eat became less and less, and this way of eating was less satisfying because even on the days I could eat more I couldn't really eat that much. I have kind of stalled over the last year, and even though I have maintained and feel great about that, I have wanted to lose more. I love food and love eating, the fact that I was able to lose as much as I did without feeling deprived was wonderful, but it just was not working anymore.

5:2 is it!! It's working! I finally feel like my stall is over and I can lose those last 10 pounds I want to lose. It feels great! And I can eat!
Wow. I am so impressed by what you've accomplished. It gives me hope. Thnks for sharing :)
