ach claireybeary, that tough going.
Have you taken any measurements? Any clothes feeling looser? Is it 'that time'? Do you have much to lose?
There are loads of reasons why the scales don't move but it is still demoralising.

Take heart and persevere. It does work.
Have a look at the boards. Lots of inspirational stories here and we are rooting for you.

I keep seeingthis TDEE. Could you please explain what this is? Thanks
Hello emsy44,,TDEE is "total daily expenditure estimate" I hope I got that right! in simple if you go on to internet type TDEE in search bar various sites will come up which if you go into then you can enter your height, age, weight and using their guide state how sedentary or active you are. depending on your input you could have TDEE of 2300cals or a figure similar all depends on your weight,,this simply means cut that back so that you are eating perhaps 1800cals daily so this would give you a deficit of 3500cals a week =1lb weight-loss.
I hope you understand a bit more from this ,,(hopefully I haven't made it more complicated)
good luck
can I add if above were the case by doing 5:2 you have immediately reduced weekly cal intake by,, 3600cals. (no real effort there) x
