DELIGHTED!
09 May 2013, 07:25
Today I hit my stone mark (10wks 4 days) which I am so happy for, though I am pushing for a bit more then will maintain as I think I am inbetween clothes sizes so want to lose the extra to feel comfortable in my size 12's.

I have learnt alot with this diet and its the perfect one for me and I will always fast for the health benefits aswell.

I have never put on wight over the time of doing it and had 2 weeks where i stayed the same. I have changed my weigh in day until the day after my 2nd fast day this is either a Thursday or Friday dependant one my plans.

I am very greatful to the friend who introdcued me to this diet otherwise I would still be 14 pounds heavier..

Congratulations on your achievement! I use the metric system, so the significant round numbers are further apart... maybe I should switch to imperial?

I had a week where I lost but was only 4 ounces still felt positive because I could still see I lost something... :)

That's the attitude that helps you achieve your goals.

I sometimes feel like if I'm not doing well I might as well give up, and this board has helped me readjust my perception of what doing well is. Losing 4 ounces is losing weight, and it's a good thing.

Exactly... I could of very easily given up 4 week mark as did not lose anything for 2 weeks and thought I cant be doing it right.. but it was just my body re-adjusting to the new way and now its always seems to be a loss even small.. The 4 ounce week was a week where I had 2 portions of homemade cheesecake (over 2 days) so thought i would put on so was very impressed at the 4 ounces. x

Well done, thank you for sharing your success - it gives me hope that I will get there too. After yo-yo-ing for so long, this does seem to suit me so far. I'm only on day 5 fasting, but like you, Zacardwell, I have learnt a lot already. It has caused a big change in my way of thinking and I really hope that this could be the answer for me for the rest of my life. I have usually exercised weight off, but as I get older this is not always going to be an option.
Congratulations on your stone loss - you must feel so proud of yourself x

Wow, that's actually really encouraging for me. I am in my fourth week, and have not lost any weight for more than 7 days straight. Looking at your impressive 1 stone loss and knowing that you were in the same situation when you were at the same point I am at now is great. (And between you and me, I also had two portions of cheesecake this week, and was blaming them.)

Ahh thank u.. I am. Just got to get my confidence back with clothes now.
I am glad you are finding it is suiting you, if you are like me I have done WW, slimming world, atkins, the gym and although they work initially after a few months they bore me and I become obsessed with food. I have found now I am no longer obsessed as it does not matter too much what I eat on my normal days. So in my head i am better if that makes sense. Onwards and up as they say... I am looking forward to the summer and wearing some nice summery clothes! :)
p.s defo seems a 4th week thing where you stay the same....
