My progress report
09 May 2013, 16:30
This is my first progress report and I have been doign 5:2 fasting since April 8th, which means I am on my 5th week of 5:2 fasting.

My goal is to lose about 10-15lbs and look better in my clothes.
I do not own a scale so I am tracking the progress by trying my pants and see how well they fit. I have two pair of pants that I want to fit in better and both of them were very tight when I started. About 2 weeks into it, I tried them and definitley they were less tight, which was very pleasing.

After that I had my period and I tried my best not to focus on "heavy feeling" from water retention. Today, when I tried my pants, there were some rooms around my waist and if I lose a bit more , I will need a belt to keep them from falling down.

I am so happy to see that it is working for me.
One thing that I want to share with everyone is that try not to focus on day to day fluctuation of how you feel about your body. Belive that you will get there and keep moving forward.

I am hoping that I can reach my goal weight before August when I go on a vacation.

Good luck everyone.

Well done. I agree with you about not being too hung up about weight but noticing the way clothes fit. I was obsesses with my weight some years ago and threw the scales out. Best thing I did to get a better, saner life. I want to lose 10 - 12 lbs to get into the "healthy range" of all the NHS charts. Getting there slowly, but am keeping it off which is the main thing. I have lost weight before, quite quickly and put it on too - quite quickly - as I went back to eating normally (no more diet food and shakes).
