Going, going ...

I just wanted to share my weight for today is 72.0 kgs. I have lost 19lbs since January which seems unbelievable to me and I feel delighted, relieved and never want to see that fat again!
Clothes-wise I seem to have backed away from the ghastly size 20 to a mythical size 17, so nothing actually fits me properly just now, the bag lady look couture de jour, but if I ever get to size 16 WOW that will be a something.
A little concerned to avoid the dried out prune face look, I have asked friends to warn me of it's approach, that will be the moment to change to maintain mode really.
In my teens I resembled a stick person, then each decade brought a new dress size but the rot stops here :0)

P.s. Now I know M&S clothes are cut on the generous side but today I gathered courage and bought a pair of their trousers size 16 ... Guess what? They fit with a little to spare! I'm over the moon and back! :like:

Thank you so much for your good wishes. I have been doing 5:2 since the start of this year, apart from 2 weeks on 16/8 IF mid to end of April to break a plateau.
This lovely forum introduced me to TDEE which gave me a good working framework for daily calorie intake so yes I do count every day, but not obsessively, I don't weigh everything I eat, it's a guesstimate.
I avoid sugar every day; no carbs, no salt, no tea or coffee at all on fast days as they effect my weight-loss.
I have found it helpful to weigh myself every morning in kgs to see how it's going but I look at my proper weight in stones and pounds once a month ;0) as it means more to me. Forum suggestions to take waist measurements too has been really useful.
Keep at it and good luck to you all.
