Delighted or Disappointed?

I just finished my 2nd week and lost 0.6kg this week. Honestly, I expected and hoped for more.
Immediately when I saw the number, I felt down. It made me realise I still do not have a good relationship with the scales.
If I have to be honest with myself, I was upset because I don't like the actual number on the scale.
I feel 2kg less than what I weigh, which is much better isn't it? My tummy feels flat. I had some good workouts this week, my blood pressure is higher(I have low blood pressure, always tired), I focus better too.

What is great is the change in my relationship to food though! Yesterday on my fast day I didn't feel deprived that I couldn't eat a freshly baked muffin my daughter made. This morning I had a a lovely healthy breakfast and enjoy every bit of it!
Oh and I tried on a few pants that fits better too..so.a number is just that...a number!
Hey UN2NET. 600g on your second week is great I reckon! It's my second week too and I only lost 800g this week and I'm doing 4:3! (convert it into pounds and it'll make you feel better because it will be one whole pound!) Like you have said I think it's more important how you feel and how clothes are fitting.
Many people on the forum forgo the scales in favour of body measurements UN2NET, as your weight can vary markedly from day to day and measurements will give a more reliable result. Perhaps given your love/hate relationship with the scales  this may be a better option for you.

Anyway, 600g is still over a pound as shannonaleece has pointed out. :like: so keep with it and don't stress about the numbers so much.
Good weight loss too for you with that low BMI Shannonaleece. Do you exercise? I plan the next 2 weeks 4:3. And the 2 weeks after 5:2 but 36 hours.

I'm happy too that I'm really not hungry today.

I think lbs sounds better!
UN2NET, 600g is over alb which is the average loss- so you're doing better than average. Well done!
If you are weighing regularly you may want to consider one of the apps that work out the trend (Libra is one- see kencc's posts)
and measure- everywhere! I lose so slowly it's almost like putting it back on but the measurements really help.
Keep at it- you're doing great
I have been on 5:2 for two weeks and haven't lost any weight, but have lost at least an inch off my waist  and my clothes do feel looser ...
