Nadia, thanks for that confirmation. So I doubt you need to lose any more weight on health grounds because you have already shed all your excess visceral fat (i.e. around your waist). I would hope - and expect - that your waist will not continue contracting because you are already in the brown 'take care' area of the Ashwell shape chart.

In the end you (and those who know you) will be the best judge of what is the right weight/shape to be. Just don't get hung up on the weight or BMI numbers. You might be interested in a revised BMI calculator that tries to give more meaningful figures for those who are tall like yourself (or short), it gives you a 'revised' BMI of 25.1 (instead of 26.3) which in fact is very close to the 'normal' BMI range (which goes up to 24.9).

That BMI caclculator - I do like it :-)
I think I have a hangup on the number - 90 kilo sounds like I'm really overweight - but I neither feel nor look overweight. 80 was fine 10 years ago ( even did modelling at that time) so 85 should be a sensible target. I have several tall girlfrinds who weigh a lot less but they are overall more narrow and have thinner frame so I guess I should not compare to them.

Thanks again for replying!
