Delighted or Disappointed?

Delighted! This is my 100th post :like:
Coming from someone who has never joined any forums, chat rooms, facebook or twitter - yes still some of us technophobes around - its a big deal. Yes I've lurked on a few sites ( mainly football sites - another story) but never joined or posted until I found you lot. After starting the diet I came across this site on a google search & after reading everyone's stories & advice - I had to join & I'm still here.
I've read the books but its the support from this forum that's really helped me stick with this WOE.

Disappointed - this week is my first weight gain.
I've gained 2lbs this week & I'm gutted
I know I shouldn't be, I know after reading other peoples stories I've been really lucky - apart from 2 weeks of not losing anything, I've lost weight steadily for 16 weeks - 20lbs.But I can't help it - I was hoping to lose another 1lb. this week to reach 1 1/2 stones lost - so may be thats it.
Sorry to moan - I promise I will kick myself up the be-hind & start afresh tomorrow.

Thanks again to everyone who posts on here - you're all stars
Hi Scotty. Snap. This is also my first forum and I don't do social network sites either. The forum is a great place and somewhat addictive - thank goodness I don't do others!

Snap on the weight loss although I've had a few more ups than you. We both seem to be at a similar weight loss and BMI. Do we need to adjust our 'normal' days a bit to take account of our lower weights? I'm not sure but I'm going to keep plugging away at this.
I also don't do online forums, except this one. It really helps keep me motivated and on track too! I've spent most of my time going down, up and all over the shop and I'm still waiting for that elusive one and a half stone! Thought I might hit it last week, but had a gain, but I'm hopeful Monday weigh in will hit that target! I've just started 36hr fasting (4 wks now) and it seems to have speeded up my weight loss a bit and as I have a lot to lose that's helpful. I guess focusing on the overall loss is what we all need to do, you've done brilliantly to get this far and from your bmi, not much to go so well done you!
Thanks wildmissus & mariposa for your replies & kind words. This forum has spoilt me for any others I might join cos I'll expect them all to be as friendly.

Wildmissus - definitely snap - I must admit I've been a bit slack this last week & my calorie count has crept up on feed days - may need to watch that & may join you liquid fasters this week for one of my fasts cos going to keep going with this WOE.

Mariposa - good luck with weigh in, will keep my fingers crossed :clover:
36 hour fasts do seem to have better weight loss results.
Let me know know you get on
