Delighted or Disappointed?

I guess I'm not surprised, so not really disappointed. It wasn't a great week. Two big parties, with lots of food and wine. Also it was the first time I've had three feed days in a row in ages. I fasted yesterday, but dinner was at a restaurant, so I didn't count calories (I think I did ok actually). The worst thing was not exercising as much as I wanted. It's rainy season in Okinawa, so hard to get outside for exercise. I could have gone to the gym but just wasn't motivated.

Hopefully this week will be better!
You've done really well so far Mary Ann, and one week is really not a big deal. After all, it took a while to put on the extra weight so it's ok if it takes a while to shed too. Sounds like you enjoyed your week so that's the main thing. Onwards and downwards!
I also gained this week but I was expecting it as only did 6:1 and went out for dinner and ate a lot of crap on feed days.
This was the first week I gained, also, but I was expecting it because we were away on holiday last week. I guess I should be pleased that I only put on 2.5lbs, as I would normally put on at least half a stone on a weeks holiday.

What I'm most pleased about is that I've got straight back onto fasting - and I've still lost 2 stone since Christmas.
I have had lots of weeks where I binged on feed days and weekends. The only thing you can do is try to be more mindful the following week. Try drinking more water, eat more salads and veggies, etc.
