I'm shocked!
I knew I'd lost weight, but was hoping for like 8-10 pounds. But I went to the doctor today and I lost 20 pounds!
I totally skipped over one of my milestones straight to another!
I've been doing the 5:2 for exactly a month now.. only last week I was sick and didn't fast (lung infection).
I also upped my exercise.
I'd been losing just by eating healthier food before I started doing the 5:2, but I'd lost 13 pounds in four and a half months. Now I've lost 20 in one!
I've VERY overweight, I had over a 100 pounds to lose (now more like 85... well 99 if I go down to my 'goal weight with wiggle room'). So I'm guessing that's why it's so dramatic. It will probably slow down now.
I have been good (except when I was sick) about calorie tracking on my "normal" days as well as my fast days so I didn't 'make up' for a fast. I also have been exercising, increasing reps every day (except on rest days).
I'm down to my graduating high school weight.. a weight I haven't been since I graduated high school! (Nine years ago). I only have 25 pounds to go now until I'm at my "lowest weight ever at my adult height" weight.
