Happy with this Eating Approach
20 May 2013, 22:41
I have put in 3 weeks with this approach, and I've found that the loss of one pound a week has been my experience as well. I generally eat a Paleo Diet, but have been a bit more flexible lately just to see how much freedom I have with this way of eating.

While I don't have a great deal to lose, I have always struggled with that 10 or so pounds over where I'd like to be, and there's no peace of mind with this constant battle of food being in control. Pants are too tight, or they're fitting nicely for a time, then back to snug fit. It's a viscious cycle.

This is the only way of eating where I finally feel that I am in control of my eating urges. I don't find the fast days difficult really, and one or two of the other days, I may overindulge a little, but I like knowing that the control will always be there when I hit a fast day.

I doubt there is any other eating plan that will bring as much success as this one, as it seems to put one back in the seat of power over food addictions.

Learning about this lifestyle eating approach has been very liberating for me. Best wishes to everyone else on the journey.
Hi windowseat. Im the same as you, up a bit, feel uncomfortable, down again etc etc. I have managed to get back to comfortable, slowly but easily.
Yes liberating is a great way to describe it.
