I have been doing this just over 5 weeks now and am very pleased with how it is going. I was a little concerned after the first couple of weeks (during which time I lost over 2.5 kgs) because the weight loss really slowed. However, I stuck at it (even threw in some extra fast days to try to get over the hump). What I am really amazed at is that after reading on this forum threads that encouraged more relaxed eating on the non-fast days I thought I would try it. Until then I had been eating relatively healthily on non-fast days and had limited treats to full fat Greek yoghurt, the occasional small scoop of icecream, real olive oil on my salads and healthy pasta dishes. Anyway, it seems that this change might have made a difference. Last week I incorporated treats such as fish and chips, pizza, lemon mousse and chocolate bars into my non-fast days (normal serving sizes and not all on the same day) and lo and behold, I have lost a lot this past week and have finally cracked both the 80kgs and 26 BMI mark. Yeah! This is definitely going to make this programme easier to stick with.

I found that when I hit a plateau a sudden surge in my eating would somehow set off a weight loss, strange but wonderful, well done, I bet you feel great,
