Scales FINALLY creeping down
24 May 2013, 11:25
I've been on the diet since early March, and since then have missed I think only 2 fast days, so I've been following it pretty well.

On my fast days I started off eating 3 small meals and snacked on cucumber, but I took the leap to a 1 meal a day plan in the evening and nothing but water all day, which I love and find very easy to stick to.

The scales have been stubborn. Initially in the first week it seemed I lost around 4kg, but movement since then has been painfully slow/non existant. However I have noticed a difference in my clothes since then - jeans fit better I can do my belts up on smaller settings etc.

I've been patiently waiting for the scales to creep below 65kg, they've been stuck at 65 or just above for some time now (pretty much since the first week!) and today... they were DEFINITELY at 64kg, maybe even a smidgen below that

I'm very happy! I would prefer for weight loss to be slow and steady as I feel it is much more sustainable, and I'm definitely sticking with this plan as I love this way of life. I'm just not sure I was prepared for it to be quite this slow! I'm just very chuffed that I can finally see some movement and I'm hoping it will continue!
Well done, agree with the slow and steady climb down. Your weight goal is my weight goal too.. my weight approximately 15 years ago.
