I have been doing the Fast diet for a month now with my husband. He has lost 9lb and I have lost 6.5lb. I just can't believe its working so well and we feel so good. Even the disturbed sleep has settled down now. It just doesn't feel like a diet.

It's amazing isn't it? What other way of eating allows you to live a relatively normal life, enjoy your food & still lose weight?!
My husband and I have been following 5:2 since the end of January. He's lost 2 stone and I've lost just over 1 stone (both reached our target weights now - Yayyyy!). I think what's made it even easier for us is doing it together, as we plan our weeks meals and fast days carefully and neither wants to be the one that gives in to temptation! We're both now still fasting one day each week for maintenance and the alleged health benefits, but it's so much part of life now it's quite easy. Off on holiday in a couple of weeks when I'm sure things will slip a bit (!) but we both know that once we return we can go back to 5:2 for a little while and get back to where we want to be.
Yes, Tass, it is easier doing it together. So much easier if you eat the same meals too. We are off on holiday to the Lake District soon so will not be fasting but will be climbing and fell walking - hope not to put it all back on! BUT will be straight back onto it as soon as we return.
