First week and 2 fasts in and I have lost 3lbs and and inch off my waist!! I'm not overweight but would like to be about 7lbs lighter. Almost halfway there. I was really skeptical that this would work, especially as the lighter you are the slower weight comes off. Very happy as I found it quite easy to do. Feed day today but off to do a kick boxing workout before breakfast.

Fantastic result
congrats, keep up the good work
...completely agree, I also lost 3 lbs in the first week and found it completely acceptable and really easy to manage with my family as they get leftovers on my fast days so I can avoid cooking. I am just slightly nervous it will all slow down next week, but if I sustainably loose a pound a week that's much better than I have done on other diets, especially if I can change to one fast a week when (IF) I reach my goal weight and got the confidence to put more fasts in when I need them. Love it !
FAB result!!........ its good to hear, as I still can't believe that I will lose weight following this - only done 1 fast yesterday, and eaten 'normally' today.
Could I ask, what kinds of things did you eat on the FEED days catgirl70 please? I just need some reassurance that you (others) really ARE eating 'normally' !! LOL
Thanks,
JB x

I'm 8lbs down after one month on 5:2, 1500 cals on feed days roughly (2400 on one night out!) and 500 0n fast days. It's brilliant in it!
Yes I do eat what I would normally eat, cereal for breakfast, soup and yoghurt for lunch, and a main meal made with Quorn, pasta, rice, potatoes and lots of fruit and veg. I don't count those calories either, life is to short and 2 days out of 5 is quite enough!
