GOAL-L-L-L-L!!!!!!!!!

Well, actually, 1lb under.... .
Living proof that 5:2 works - one of a crowd, of course!!
Very happy. Didn't think I'd ever be even reasonably slim again - was busting out of size 18-20.
Am going to set a new target now, 11st, and I know I can get there, that's the difference!
Keep going folks!!

Congratulations!! That is awesome!! I like your point about it being a wobbly line, but going steadily down - so true for many of us and a good reminder to keep focused on that! :victory: :victory: :victory:

Question since I'm new here - do you calorie count on your feast days? Also, do you take the 500 calories on your fast days, or less?

Any tips to share?

Thanks folks - it's a good feeling. :victory:

Sifrina, I started to count cals on feast/feed days when I hit a plateau. (I use Myfitnesspal.com). I seem to keep within 1500-2000 fairly easily now but do sometimes go over the 2000. If that happens I don't worry about it and it seems to be easier to cut back accordingly on other days.
In the long term I intend to not count calories on non-fast days and think that I already eat in a more intelligent way since taking up 5:2 and hope to be able to keep within the WOE.
I have 500 cals on fast days, never go under, occasionally go to 510 but again don't worry about it.

TML13, I don't think I do anything anyone else doesn't do.
Keep busy, I suppose, it's certainly easier to fast if you do...
Although, beginning to think that no breakfast, weeny lunch of Miso soup & apple and a bigger dinner is the best way to do it.

Sifrina, TML13, I tell a lie - I also looked at my general exercise levels (without going to the gym) and I think I have managed to become a bit more active all round. So I guess that helps too and might be considered a tip - up the activity!
Something like myfitnesspal.com helps with this too.
