Really Happy
26 May 2013, 07:56
I started with 5:2 about 3 weeks ago. I find fast days really easy on the whole, and I find the diet really fits into my life. Last weekend I went away to Germany, I drank lots of beer ate whatever I wanted so I was slightly nervous to weigh myself, however I was delighted to see a loss of 2lbs from the previous week and in total since I started 6 lbs (in 3 weeks) . I am really inspired by it :) .

That's AWESOME! This site is great because reading success stories from real people with real life experiences is soooo motivating! I am on my first week (today is my second fast day) and it really isn't as bad as I expected it to be. Down 2 lbs. already! Keep up the good work!

Although Flo, keep in mind most people plateau at the 6-8 week mark and don't lose for a few weeks. But do not be discouraged! The weight loss will pick back up. What amazes me is I went 6 weeks on a plateau and still kept with it. I definitely would not have with an ordinary diet.
