People are noticing!
30 May 2013, 01:20
I am feeling very happy as I've just arrived into the overweight BMI range - begone obesity for ever!
Also I'm having people notice the weight loss now.
Nice comments of "your thighs are slimmer"(allowable from my sister), and face and neck being slimmer particularly.
I still feel I'm the "blob stick blob" shape but I'm sure it will all even out eventually.
My main motivation for losing the weight is for health reasons, but the by product of looking better is a lovely bonus!

Well done Gigi55
it is interesting where the weight goes from. Most noticeable at first for me were face and neck. Like you I have a couple of health issues which are the motivating forces to skip me along this WOL. Also it is also exciting to reach milestones such as healthier BMI range.
All the best on your 5:2 journey too :clover:

Isn't it great going down into that 'overweight' category. Well done gigi - you must be so pleased with yourself and deservedly so. Good luck as you head towards 'normal' !!!

That's great Gigi and so motivational. I fully understand your joy. I feel the glow too - this morning a colleague at school said "you look so much younger and lovely and that what you have done is fantastic!" WOW!
However, there is so much to be grateful for throughout this forum....simply masses of practical and supportive help. ( recurring I realise that it has given me a better attitude to food and understanding that everyone here has issues, many of which are the same as mine and NORMAL!
I spend a lot of time browsing the posts and the positive and the fun has rubbed off on me.
