Delighted or Disappointed?

I am really delighted! I have to say that I thought I would really struggle with not eating much for a whole day, as I am pretty greedy usually. However, it does get easier (on my 4th fast today) I have found and I am not tearing the fridge door open the second I get in from work. I also have zero will power but the thought that I can have that Dairy Milk tomorrow - it will still be there  - is what really helps me to stick to it.

I tend to have a bowl of oats so simple porridge at about 11am and then dinner at 7pm of grilled chicken and steamed veggies. I really like the 'clean' flavours. I am trying going all the way through until 7pm today - have my trusty 2 litres of water and am busy at work so the day should fly!

I am 5ft 10" and currently weigh 11 stone 2lbs and my BMI is 22.4. I am doing this to get back to my wedding weight of 10 stone 2lbs, but would be happy at 10 stone 4lbs (70.8K). I just want to feel better about myself again! I love 5:2!! :like:
Your weight loss is fantastic - wish I could lose that fast. I agree about knowing you can have the chocolate tomorrow, it's really motivating, although I often find I don't eat it on my normal days anyway.

Hope you can keep going at this great rate, but don't worry if it slows down a bit. Good luck!
Congrats! :like:
thanks guys - I have to say I think the reason I have lost so well is because I am a a very greedy person naturally and eat way more in a day than I should, so cutting that down significantly 2 days a week has clearly made a difference and shown me what a Pig I am usually! I agree with you Silverbelle, that it will slow down and am trying to prepare myself mentally for that and then not giving up
!
That's a very good weight loss emmalou15! Have you measured too? You will probably slow down quite a bit (average loss is about a pound a week so you're well in 'credit';))- that can be disheartening but if the centimeters are reducing it can fair keep you buoyed up!
Keep at it- it is so worth it for re-educating our habits
