Don't be disheartened
11 Jun 2013, 08:25
After being stuck for a few weeks I tried a different tactic (see the 5:2 16:8 thread....... I don't want to bore you by saying it all again here) and am on the downward trend again. Have lost 3lb since last Tuesday. I am now back on track for almost 1lb loss per week since I started despite this wobble. Last week it said 23 weeks to go to target, this week it says 14. :victory:

Huge thanks to Ballerina for inspiring me, Amberenchanted, gillymary and everyone else over on that thread for listening to me moaning and supporting me. Way hey

If you are having a tough time, don't despair. Keep going, don't give up :clover: :like:

That's great Carol, well done. That's exactly what was happening to me, isn't it lovely when you see that downward trend? It spurs you on.

There's rather a lot of it, we got very enthusiastic. It doesn't suit everyone but I am loving it. I did 5:2 yesterday and won't eat today until about 1:00. I don't know how but I find it easy once I set my mind to it. Happy reading

There's always next week...

Good morning Wendy Darling,

Thank you for your kind words and yes, didn't we get a little overexcited on that thread? It's lovely to see so many people willing to try small variations of 5:2 and they all seem to work, you just pick the one that suits you best, like Azurblue's way hay days, great ones those.

Keep up the good work, off now to join hubs in the pool,

Ballerina x

Oh don't Mizzo!!!! I can't believe I've had less than 500 calories since Sunday evening. Don't know what to have for lunch. Omelette with a bit of cheese and some baked beans maybe?

Thanks Ballerina, have fun x

Thanks Wendy darling and well done.
Having just done the 5:2 section it certainly takes setting your mind to it but I think if you find some yummy low cal meals in your 5:2 window day they set you up to last to 1pm window next non fast day. I found you just have to do it and see.

I am reserving my celebrating until the scales settle. But I can celebrate for you ... yippee yahoo
Way to go ... Well done
