Disappointed

Hi all,

I had an unscheduled weigh in and Ive not lost anything agin this week. That makes it a total of 1lb lost in under 3 weeks :-(

I have added 16:8 in a few days ago along with my fast days. Now that I am doing 16:8 I will have no breakfast, a snack to break my fast at 11am then lunch, another snack in between then dinner. On my fast days I do not eat now till night around 5/6 and cinsume all my cals then.

Any ideas as to why Im not seeing results or should I see what the scales say at the end of the month then reasses??

Thanks

Karen

I had a 3 week period where I didn't lose anything and then I had a wedding, a weekend at my parents and half term. So I did 2 days where I only ate dinner (with accompanying alcohol), 1 day eating breakfast and lunch and then 1 normal fast day that week. I don't know why but it seemed to shake things up and I started to lose again. I'm sure someone will come along and be able to give you some advice but I think that surprising your body gives it a bit of a kick start. Of course it could just be coincidence. Good luck :)

I went six weeks with no loss. Then, in the past two weeks, I've lost 4 pounds! Can't explain why, I haven't done anything different but don't be too discouraged.

Thanks :-)

I know my fast days are right so it must be my feast days that are letting me down. I used to do Scottish Slimmers which allowed 1200 cals a day (49 points) so I think I need some structure as having free reign over food is my downfall.

I will try that added with 5:2 and 16:8 to see what happens.

Have your measurements changed at all? Sometimes it shows on the tape measure before it registers on the scales.

What about your fatty bits, have they gone all dimply and flobbly?(That's a technical term I learned on here! A mix of floppy and wobbly! )When you empty a fat cell your body likes to keep it in the hope that you will let it fill back up again. It does this by filling it with fluid. OK nerds so that simplified but I'm a bear of little brain these days! When that happens your fatty bits take on that strange bubbly texture. It depends how stubborn your body is about giving up the cells but you will probably have one of those days when you are forever trotting off to the loo and then you'll notice the weight drop.

Stick with it. This WOE is notoriously slow for a lot of us when it comes to weight loss but it beats all other methods by a mile when it comes to being sustainable.
