big gain, but what?
19 Jun 2013, 08:30
not weight loss, not waist measurement, but I think more important. I've been going 4 weeks now, and for the second night in a row I've finished dinner and left food on my plate. I'm so proud of myself - don't like to blow my own trumpet, but seriously, this is the (literally) first time in 30 years that I've done anything like this. (just wanted to share)

Yay well done. It's these little "oh I get it now - yay go me" moments that make 5:2 so good. I was brought up being told to finish all my food on my plate because of the starving children in Africa. My mum didn't appreciate me telling her to post one particular meal to them !! :)

Guess mums aren't always right
