Hmmmm

4lbs on this week. Had two good fast days but two very hungry days so it must have cancelled out any benefit. the rest of the week has been within my TDEE. a little bit despondent tbh.

I have also put on this week, for the first time. TBH I was expecting it, as I am feeling a bit bloated, despite fasting yesterday. Nothing at all to do with the curry feast and cream tea....

But hey, it's just one week, right? Next week we will both have lost again. After all, weight fluctuates so much with food in transit, fluid, etc.

I will throw in an extra mini-fast tomorrow, until my friends party starts at 2pm. That should help. Maybe you could do a mini fast one day too?

The gain maybe water retention. I had a 2kg jump overnight and I went on a detox mode. I dranks lots of liquids and detox tea. It took me 2 days to be rid of it. What you eat on non fast day will do that to your body if its salty or maybe you have a slight disaggreement with the food or food that makes gas and bloats you. Keep focus and it will all be good again.

In the meantime, a *hug* from me.

Hi. Try not to be despondent. As already said it could just be water retention, and I am sure it will come off over the next week or so. I too have slowed down, put on, then taken off. Its very frustrating, but the overriding trend is downwards and that is all that matters. You have done so well so far, don't give up. Have a good day. x

Strangely though I feel slimmer and actually had someone comment on my weight loss for the first time...how queer.

Sounds like its water or something like it.

If you feel slimmer then that surely is worth more than the scales, also if people have noticed that you look slimmer then maybe you build up some muscles which will make you look slimmer while the scales might go up

Don't be too disheartened and give it another week or so just to make sure it's just one of those things. :clover:
