Delighted or Disappointed?

It's been slow but not hard so I guess that is the point, isn't it. ;-)

Hubby has not lost much weight because he really enjoys non-fast days too much BUT he has had some good metabolic results. We are in the US and they use the AC1 to follow his diabetes, It was 6.7 and after only 3 weeks on this program it dropped a half point to 6.2! Hopefully next month his 3 month check up will be even lower. His blood pressure went from 148/90 to 105/73 when checked on Monday for a pre-op check!! HUGE DIFFERENCE! :-D And he's still almost 100 pounds overweight. I hope he will get serious about the weight loss but in the meantime he still has had great results with those numbers.

So take heart even if you aren't losing, your body is still healing!! YAY!
What wonderful results! I'm sure your husband's numbers will continue to improve if he keeps on track.

Congrats on your 15 lbs!
Thanks Lori! Hoping hubby will curb his 5 feed days a bit! ;-)
The feed days might well adapt with time and as he notices changes, mine have taken a while but things are changing as I learn more about my body and hunger. Congratulations on the weight loss and better health for you both! :0)
Thanks Joneil and Mariposa. He really does not seem to have the "smaller stomach" after fasting that most of us feel, or he ignores it and eats right past it! Ha! Not sure but I really wish he would curb it a bit. ;-)
Great news, especially on the health front! I am hoping that I will be able to improve my bp too, so this is very encouraging!
Dhana let me know how you with your BP. I will post hubs info next month after he has his physical.
Great results!
Those numbers are probably more important that his weight at this stage, I am sure that he will slow down the longer he does the 5:2 it is probably psychological, the freedom of being able to eat what he wants.
