100g gain after two weeks!!

I am quite literally gutted!!

I put on 300g last week and this week I have lost 200g. So in two weeks instead of losing almost a kilo I have put on. I know this sounds petty but I am so desperate to lose the weight. I was willing to watch it come off slowly. I had come around to the idea of losing about a lb a week, but instead and even after doing two low carb days this week I am still heavier than I was two weeks ago.

I just wanted to share my disappointment. Hopefully writing it down will get it out of my system so that I don't just give up!!!! :cry:

100g is less than half a glass of water. Look at the overall picture - you've lost 4.7kg in a month.

I know it's horrible to see weight going on - look at my progress chart. But don't be so hard on yourself. I would say that anyone whose chart shows a nice even downward trend could be telling porkies and just kidding themselves on. Don't get stressed (because that doesn't help with weight loss) and keep doing what you are doing and review in a couple of weeks time. This WOL can be tweaked to shake this up a bit - that's coming from someone who hasn't lost anything for 7 weeks).

You've done exceptionally well so far, don't give up.

Wildmissus is right I only record when I lose-I am not kidding myself, but psychologically it works better for me and as far as I am concerned that's what counts!

Thanks for replies. I am going to do low carb in week plus my two fasts. I am feeling very low today, but hopefully tomorrow I will start week positively. I really don't want to give up and even though I can't see it, my hubby says that I do look slimmer!
