8 weeks today and I weigh less than I have weighed in years
I have tried to lose these last 3kilos for years.i have tried every single diet you can think of and lost nothing ,zero
So I gave this a try.I didn't weigh myself at the beginning but did measure so after 5 weeks I was most disappointed when I did weigh and was than i expected to be.however ,I had lost 5 cm off my waist
So then I started weighing every day and watching what I ate on nonfast days,not calorie counting but being aware and not snacking and the weight started to go down
I am so happy.would still like to lose another 1&1/2 kilos bit to be honest if I don't and I just maintain here ,I will be happy.
My clothes are loose and I have lost 6 cm off my waist and a few off my hips...have a flat bum and fat tum so quite happy most of the loss is off waist.
So what I have learned:
I need to weigh regularly
I need to watch what I eat on non fast days
I love to skip breakfast
No snacking
16/8 is wonderful
I feel great,full of energy and so happy
The support from this forum has been,is amazing

Congrats Sarah on losing those pesky 3 kilos, I found your post inspirational and agree that watching what you eat on non fast days is nearly as important as the fast day - that's where the results are!

I have just come back from holidays where we literally ate our way around New Zealand (the scenery was breathtaking and the food was amazing!) but I am not too worried because I will shift those couple of kilos with this WOE!

I hope I can post something similar to you in a few weeks time :cool:
ps: fasting today as well!

Must say I am a bit concerned about how I am going to go on holiday
We are going on a family holiday soon.how am I going to get away with skipping breakfast?

Well done Sarahg glad to know that this woe works on the ''last bit''
Know all those feelings you're getting coz I'm getting them also I am so pleased with my loss and can see myself doing some form for life.
Don't worry about your holiday coz as jenwren says you can repair damage on return well that's what I did!! Maybe my next hol I'll probably try a full or semi fast because I'll be more used to it by then, and it did take me 1week to repair holiday damage, but heyho that's the beauty of this woe :clover: Sue
