I am intrigued by this thread. Most women spend their pastime trying to get their men more healthy and eating food they don't like. Now when a couple of them do great on this way of eating there is jealousy and even some hatred. Just an observation.

I'm jealous! You lost 2 lbs in the first 4 weeks? I lost nothing for the first 5 weeks! In my view, you are off to a great start.
Eventually the hard work pays off and the weight starts dropping off. And remember to keep measuring your waist and thighs etc. The inches I was losing helped me through those first feelings of disappointment.
You've got the right idea with pressing on. Good luck!

But he wasn't even doing 5:2 ! He wasn't doing anything. Just the fact that twice a week he might have felt a tinsy bit inhibited scoffing in front of me (and I can't say I noticed any change in his behaviour at all) was enough to make his weight drop.
You could be me, Kentishlass, I go on any sort of diet and my hubby loses weight!!!!! Men!!!!

I'm not worried he's lost weight, I'm worried he's now too thin. Comments have been passed by neighbours, etc about how I'm not feeding him properly!
Absolutely adore my OH...

Haha... Remind the neighbors that he is a man, not a pet.
They are elderly, otherwise I'd have said exactly that!
