The scales are showing 3 pounds loss - the first time they've been any different after being on the 5:2 for nearly 8 weeks! The reason I've not given up is that my clothes are definitely baggier, and I think because I go to the gym regularly that I may have added muscle weight. Today I measured my waist for the first time and wished I'd done it at the start!

I earlier posted about my friend that gave up.. Well low and behold .. she started again after i told her i had lost 3kg in total.. and yes, just yesterday she sent an online chat message saying she started it again about 3 weeks ago.. and has started to now lose weight. yippeee

Wow, that's certainly some plateau but many, many congratulations for sticking with it! I think it takes tremendous strength of character to keep going through that and your weight-loss is your reward. Brilliant! Well done!
