Party, party, party!

In the last three weeks I have had a succession of celebrations!

OH's birthday - all our favourite foods, plus yummy chocolate cake.

My friends 40th birthday buffet - 'go on, there's loads left - have more...'

My birthday - home-made chocolate fudge squares made with sour cream and coffee taken to work to share. Meal out, two boxes of Thorntons chocs...

Friends farewell party - another buffet - delicious brie...

End of term celebrations at school - BBQ, with 3 types of flavoured sausages (gotta taste them all...),plus my speciality - very decadent Double Chocolate Mousse cake.

Daughter's exam success meal out (clever girly with a 2:1 in Anatomy) - Mexican with cocktails!!

So ok, after the first week I did put on 2 lbs, but that was after a big loss the week before, so may have been partly a blip...

Lost 1lb the second week, and the second pound this week :)

So after all that yummy food I have not gained anything. I am happy with that - normally a few weeks like this would see me 1/2 a stone heavier!! This diet suits me!

Isn't it wonderful. You might not lose weight after a week or two like that but not gaining is just as good. Hope you birthday was wonderful!!!!

Fingers crossed that I have your same success after having a very over indulgent weekend, plus out to dinner and bon jovi concert tonight, which will involve wine of course, then I'm off on holiday on Saturday, I have been feeling anxious about this but your post has reassured me that it doesn't all have to fall apart. Well done!!!!! :victory:

I have been scoffing as well on non-fast days due to various celebrations and events. Dreading my weigh in tomorrow.

Glad your results have worked out, after my holiday I didn't get on scales on return + took me one week of being very good + 4:3 to return same reading as my departure, that's the joy of this woe no guilt at all just enjoyment then jump back on board :clover:
Rawsy I'm so jealous BON JOVI      Sue

I had a real blowout weekend - my son's sports day on Saturday with a picnic with fried chicken, brownies, chocolate chip cookies, and a fair bit of wine, as well as a pub dinner and lunch scattered in there. I also didn't have as much time to exercise as I normally do. I was down a pound on the week - I'm thrilled!
