Thought my scales were broken!!
05 Jul 2013, 07:57
Hi

Usually I'm a lurker but I had to share this - weighed myself this morning after not weighing for nearly four weeks and I've lost 8 pounds!!!! Had to check it three times - I've now lost just over a stone since I started in May.

Think I'm totally hooked on this way of life now - I do my 500 fast on a Tues & Thu and it's definitly getting easier. I'm eating less during the week because I'm just not hungry but haven't cut out my alcohol consumption at weekends which is what let me down on previous diets.

Going on holiday next week so I'm undecided whether or not to try and follow it while away - I'll let you know how I get on.

Thanks to everyone who is so supportive on here - you don't know it but you all really helped at the start.
first of all welcome and that is brilliant 8 pounds,I know the feeling when you can't believe your eyes with scales also this WOE does for sure get easier and enjoy your holiday
Hi, WELL DONE! Great result! Interested to see you're still able to drink alcohol - I've found i put on a pound or 2 after a night of alcohol then the good work fasting is all ruined. Any tips on drinking alcohol but maintaining weight loss?
