Delighted or Disappointed?

:victory: Its an archaic way of calculating weights, but its still relevant to the British way of thinking about weights, especially body weights. So that's my first 2 stone gone, never to return. :victory:

For the rest of the world that's 28lb in 19 weeks. :victory:

It also makes it 10% of my starting body weight. :victory:

Thanks for the support in this forum and real life. I can now carry on with the other 8 stone knowing its doable.

For those struggling with losses of 'only' 1lb or less a week. All I can say is that I am tremendously overweight, have a look at my stats, and the general consensus is that very overweight people lose weight easily at first. In a year I will be struggling alongside you trying to get that last 10lb to shift.
Well done Julie :like: a very big milestone in your graph, and yes couldn't agree more **off 4ever   Sue
I have also picked a pair of trousers from the wardrobe that I bought last year and found they were way too tight in the 'camel toe' department, and today they fit brilliantly.
Many, many congratulations! Your post sounds so positive and I love your conviction that this WOE is going to make your goal achievable. Good luck to you, although I don't really think that you need it - not with an attitude like yours! :star: :star: :star:
Hi Julieathome,

That is fantastic, I bet you feel on top of the world, such a great achievement. :like:

Sue.Q aren't you the naughty one??? But SOOOO right!!

Ballerina x
Well done!

It's only used for body weight, I think here now but it's certainly general usage. The nurse went to convert kgs for me and when I said no need, she told me that I was the first person to ever say that they were happy knowing my weight in kgs.
Excellent results so far keep up the good work  :victory: :like: make me even more sure I can do it also thanks for that positive reinforcement regarding this WOL today I needed it after a couple of unkind comments :frown: , looking forward to sharing this journey of a new WOL with you
That's brilliant - you should be incredibly proud of yourself! Here's hoping the next go so 'easily'... All the best, FatDog
Woo Hoo!
Well done!
