Its an archaic way of calculating weights, but its still relevant to the British way of thinking about weights, especially body weights. So that's my first 2 stone gone, never to return.
For the rest of the world that's 28lb in 19 weeks.
It also makes it 10% of my starting body weight.
Thanks for the support in this forum and real life. I can now carry on with the other 8 stone knowing its doable.
For those struggling with losses of 'only' 1lb or less a week. All I can say is that I am tremendously overweight, have a look at my stats, and the general consensus is that very overweight people lose weight easily at first. In a year I will be struggling alongside you trying to get that last 10lb to shift.
