A week off and maintained!
06 Jul 2013, 07:36
Dead pleased, I am.

Ended up not fasting this week (away, friend staying), just one day of 16:8 which I'm sure can't make any difference.

I did think about what I was eating, but didn't hold back particularly. Where I did restrict myself as much as I could (ie had an afternoon of a DVD, popcorn and the delightful company of my 10 year old daughter) was with snacks.

It was interesting to see how much and what I can eat and still maintain (yes I know weight fluctuates so it may be a false hope), and quite pleased really. My TDEE (according to this site) must then be for a fairly active person, as I'm sure I hit 2000 cals pretty much every day (if not more some days).

I feel calmer and happier about my weight and eating, which has to be good. Weightloss through the summer is going to be slow, next week will just be 6:1, then back to 5:2 (probably) until hols in August, then two weeks of lord knows what.....but I'm OK with that.

Hope everyone else is doing OK this sunny morning!!

Hi swedey Wow that sounds good to me, the fact you didn't gain, and your plan for the next few weeks will let you know how ''naughty'' you can be so good luck :like:
Yes nice + sunny here too, I think bit of gardening and definitely a BBQ later with loads of salad, + bottle of wine of course  :clover: Sue

Well done, a great weight loss and always a relief to maintain, I find it positive as it's like a consolidation of the weight loss. I'm so keen to get under 30 bmi, feels like then I can relax as the end is in sight and achievable, I already feel so much better in myself. Good luck with the weeks ahead :0)

Well done, Swedey! I think that it is important to know how much you can eat and not gain weight and I agree with mariposa that it can act as a consolidation.

It sounds as if you have come up with a good plan for the next few weeks but don't forget that even if your plans go awry, then we all now have the tools in our 'dieting' knowledge to get back on track.

Best wishes for your future weight loss!
