Muffin top
09 Jul 2013, 12:25
Hi

Started 5:2 on 1 June and have lost 11 lbs so far - which is fantastic. As a WOE, I have found it very easy to follow and see no problem going forward either to achieve a revised goal of 11st 10lbs, or once there to maintain that weight.

Here comes the however - although my belt has gone up a notch, the muffin top is still there.

I am doing 30 minutes exercise (walking or cycling) 3/4 times per week.

Any ideas on a better/different type of exercise to shift my middle aged spread.

Keep on keeping on!

Hi fellow muffin top basher !

I too suffer from this complaint! Have reached my goal weight and am now maintaining but still suffer from loose skin/muffin top problem area. After much researching and reading I have decided the way forward for me is to target the area using a dvd (trying 10 minute solutions blast off belly fat) and have also started going low carb, which I do not find easy, but I am trying. Have discovered that eating low carb helps the body to stop storing fat in the midsection, apparently!

The dvd is hard but I can already feel some results.

Good luck in your quest to eliminate the muffin top!
