Calculating my BMR says I can have 1746 to lose weight but my TDEE on here say 1653 thats a big difference in itself, I am not planning on just having 1200cals per day in the long run but just until I reach my goal weight then I will maintain.

If you continue on a plateau, at least consider increasing your feed day intake. Take in too few calories for long enough and your metabolism tends to slow down and burn fewer calories thus prolonging the time it takes to lose weight.

Or you can do what I and others here do which is to mix up the calories. Fast a couple of days, eat reasonably for a couple of days (your 1200 cals), and feast a day or 2. My plan is to confuse my metabolism so much that it gives in and just does its job regardless of what I give it. It's working so far. Of course I've got more to lose than you.

kencc yes I have to say I was, but then thats because other people I know have had massive losses in the first few weeks. I am not saying I am giving up all I was saying is that I was annoyed I'd maintained which given the fact lots of people lose so much in the first 4 weeks or so.

I have really feasted this weekend so fasting now is comfortable but I plan to just carry on the way I am until holiday then when I come back I'll start from scratch (or at least I am pretty sure I'll have to)
