Delighted or Disappointed?

Just thought I'd gloat!!

I am a very happy bunny. A 4lb loss in two weeks is great, I think. Lost an inch around my waist and almost two from my bustline.

I've mentioned in my other posts, but my regular weightloss attempt had plateaued for so long. (3 and a half stone lost in total over two years, but only 10lbs lost since Christmas. Still good, but I had hoped for more this year).

It's so nice to finally get UNDER the dreaded 14st/196lbs  Even though I have been very consistent in watching calories and exercising, I've been hovering around that mark on the scales for months, going up a pound or two or down a pound or two but never quite getting under it. This eating method seems to be busting through that plateau, which is exactly what I had hoped.

I find myself OBSESSED with the thought of food on fast days though LOL. If we could find a cure for that, that really would be something :like:
Good news Whitelilly77 and congrats on getting under 14. :victory:
Keep measuring too.
The obsession with food on fast days does wear off- kind of! Mine has in that I no longer feel hungry (over 50 fasts) but I will insist on looking at lovely recipes!
Thank you both!

What I'm also finding is that already on the 'feast' days it's a real struggle to eat a 'normal' amount of food - I mean, I'm doing it - averaging around 1500-1800 cals on those days but I feel so bloated on those days. I don't think I'd be able to hit circa 2000 cals at all. Perhaps my stomach is shrinking fast.

Also though, I did a bit of rudimentary maths - I think the amount of calories I'm averaging over the course of a week pretty much accounts for the 2lb weight loss. So maybe if it ain't broke don't fix it!!
Well done Whitelily :like: . As your feast day pattern of eating seems to be working for you then I would agree that you should stick with it!
Well done Whitelilly. You will stop obsessing about food on fast days, it's just an infatuation that will pass  just take it an hour at a time. At least this woe lets you indulge a little on the other five days unlike a traditional 24/7 diet. Good luck :clover:
