Delighted or Disappointed?

Three weeks of island hopping in Greece including no less than five fast days and here I'm back with 1,4 kilo less to carry around. Yipeeee!!

I did the traveling days my fast days. Had breakfast with my family, little or no lunch and than a small dinner. No wine but that was actually a good thing being away for three weeks I find it quite healthy to skip the wine twice a week.

Bonus was that it was quite nice to be in my bikni the day after a fast day. In addition to that the fast days also kept me on track good control over portion sizes, not that into an ice cream I think I had less than 3 during the whole trip and it was not something that I missed.

In between the fast days I enjoyed wine lunches, good food (but healthy) lots of sallads and shared portions, good mezes but also bread, chips, gin & tonics. In essence all the things that I normally would eat/drink during a vacation.

I'm so pleased and proud over myself and finally after years with guilt over points and check lists could this perhaps be my way of living.
Congratulations on a trip that was successful In every way. Very well done.
Well done and hope you continue to do well.
