Tennis helps weight loss!

Just did my weekly weigh in and 3lbs down this week! My 5 year old has the tennis bug and we have been 3 nights this week to the local courts. This week a few people at work have commented on how much I've lost. Nice to get a wee boost.

Where I live is just up the road from Andy Murray's home town and the local park is packed with youngsters playing tennis. They've put on (the council) a summer camp of tennis lessons for only a tenner! It is so nice to see and hear the kids having so much fun, and getting fit at the same time!

We live in the same area! Yes it's the Andy Murray effect!
It's great to be out in the good weather exercising. Can't remember the last summer like this.

That's so cool. It's a great sport for kids because in addition to all the running around it involves so much skill and coordination. I loved the few summers my whole family played together.

Unfortunately I can't play anymore because of a recurring ganglion cyst that tennis really aggravated (particularly serving and lob shots). I really miss it, and there's lighted counts nearby.
