Fast day fail...
05 Feb 2013, 19:50
Hi!

I have been doing 5:2 for 3 weeks and have lost 7lb and am so pleased with it. Normally I sadistically look forward to fast days, but today I found myself in the co op buying a large pack of cheese puffs and stuffing my face with them...... I feel so disappointed in myself..... Totally ruined what started out as a good fast day....

Never mind Lulapants, the beauty of this WOE is that you can just pick another day and fast then. :)

awww Lulapants, don't be disappointed with yourself its just a blip...you've done amazing so far...some days will be good and some days won't...just slot in another fast day to make up for the one that went wrong, no worries ... :)

Dust yourself off and climb on the horse again. BTW, going to the coop on fast days may be flirting with temptation (or a masochistic streak?). Can you avoid it?

Maybe today, you just really needed to eat a cheese puff...as the others say, don't let it derail you.

Lulapants don't be disheartened and don't give up. The beauty of this way of eating is that it really doesn't matter if little setbacks like that happen. Concentrate instead on how well you have done and don't beat yourself up about one indulgence! You can always fast tomorrow instead...good luck x

Don't beat yourself up Lulapants, I would be very surprised if your the only one to slip up on a fast day. I know I have before, I've been doing this diet since Aug and I still find fast days hard, but you do get used to them.

As above give it another go tomorrow. Good luck :)

..can only echo the other comments. This is such a flexible diet plan and you have done so well already that one tiny setback is a drop in the ocean x
