Trousers falling off!
06 Feb 2014, 11:32
Well, I am very proud of myself. Some of you might remember me writing a post about being stuck at a plateau of epic proportions a little while ago? I have finally in the last two weeks seen the scales move, so much I thought they were broken. I stuck with the programme after you all helped me with your stories and encouragement. I did more exercise and have been eating cleaner and it has finally worked! It took 3 months in total. That was one helluva long time for me to be patient, I am not known for patience! LOL. Anyway, for anyone else stuck on the same weight day in day out, don't despair, it will happen in it's own time. It's easier to say that this side of the plateau mind you. I now have 5lbs to go to my target and my wardrobe is almost empty as everything is falling off or gaping across the chest! Bring it on I say! Hope everyone is OK and for those of you fasting today, may no hunger bother you.

Wow well done on your patience@Flab2fab! I have only been fasting 5 weeks but am terrified of reaching a plateau as like you I am rather impatient and will need a lot of willpower to keep going when/if that happens!

Thank you for your post, having been on an epic slow down/ plateau and hopefully sliding off it now (though the half bottle of wine tonight is not going to help) it is immensely encouraging to hear that things do shift in the right direction as long as we hang in there.
