Whoops....
03 Nov 2014, 14:45
I had a very difficult Interview a few weeks back.(my Doctor as it happens but I got the support I needed, bless him)
I came out a bit shell shocked and called my folks to say it had gone (surprisingly) well.
I said to my dad later I could do with a stiff whiskey after that. I didn't as I don't drink but I got a coke craving.
Unfortunately my will power didn't stand up that and guzzled more cans of coke than I care to admit.
Anyone know why? I haven't drunk coke for years. WAs it some form of adrenalin reaction?

The net result is......another inch on my belt.

It seems to have had a delayed reaction. At the moment I just can't see where the stuffs com from but weight and waste are doing their own thing despite me back on portion control. Do the kidneys store the sugars and give them out over period of month?

So, disaster just now, but disasters happen. I've just started running again so that should help move it(?)
Thoughts and theories here welcome.

Well i' m glad that difficult interview went well David ! :like:
The drinking coke thing..all i can say is,whenever i have a mixture of emotions running thru me- and like you said, the adrenaline is running wild - i tend to go for my crutch, which is eating something sugary,or needing a stiff drink or two,or a strong coffee..or even ( and i havent smoked for over thirty years!) a cigarette!
I dont know why,but one or more of the above somehow seems to help in the moment tho it doesnt help longterm.it just relieves pressure and distances me from that jumble of emotion.
I' m reading The Chimp Paradox at the moment in an attempt to understand myself and my crazy behaviour a little better! We are complex creatures thats for sure.xx
