Before starting this WOE I was on a 1200 calorie diet and I got really disheartened if after a week of depriving myself I hadn't lost anything. So I decided that this time I would only weigh myself once every 4 weeks.

I just couldn't resist though and in 9 days I've lost 5lbs!!!

I echo what gillymary has said. I am (still) amazed how easy it is to stick to and you don't really feel like you're on a 'diet' (which helps - I was always obsessed by what I could eat next when counting calories). Don't forget the tape measure either!
