worth the wait :-)

hi all!

just wanted to share with you a small but very welcome victory  I stepped on the scales this morning, now, am not the biggest fan and they know it! but I thought well its been a month now so lets see... 3 lbs and a half gone!!!!!!!! so that's 4 lbs lost since I started the fasting on july 11th, I am happy, its been slow but time does fly by!
Once a month to step on those scales is enough for me :geek: though so hopefully next month it'll be another mini victory

This WOL DOES work, I am truly convinced of it, in fact I am eating more than before I started this, I don't feel deprived at all like a lot of other fasters here!

so here it is, like many have said before me, keep at it and be patient you will see results, no matter small, the boost is priceless!!
fasting today so good luck to my fellow fasters everywhere! :clover:

Angie :victory:

Hi Sue

thank you for your post! yes yes yes you will get there, patience is the key here so one day at a time, its amazing what 5.2 does to your mind, and body of course!! you think differently, but yet it never feels like a chore or unattainable goal!
you are doing fab too, so happy fasting and eating too! :-)

Awesome! :like:
You are disciplined not to look at the scales but once a month, but I can understand the motivation to do so. How many times in the past have I dieted only to look on the scales to see that I have gained! Even on 5:2. If you go longer without looking, it all seems to level out, like you said, the fasting AND the eating, and in your favour! Well done!

Well done angie , I'm a monthly weighed too which sometimes stretches to two months! I measure a bit more often as I like seeing the cms disappear. When you add it up it can be quite an impressive number  ;)
