So I jumped on the scales this morning and expecting to be heavier I was delighted to see that I lost a few 100 grams and now almost almost have reached my original goal! I am about 200 grams away which after 10 months is really just amazing. I am so grateful to have found out about this way of eating and living. It is truly amazing to think that I am able to lose weight (about a stone and a half) and still eat fantastically. I am thinking that I might lower my goal weight by a few pounds to just give me some extra cushion for when I start maintenance. I am a bit nervous about maintaining but I have also started doing 16/8 on my regular feasting days and that seems to make a ton of difference as well. today which is a feasting day for me coincided with some Mississippi Mud cake that a neighbour made. There had been 4 pieces, two of which my husband had already eaten (he is blessed with the genetics of a stick insect) and two meant for me. I thought that I would easily polish off both slices (quite slender slices, super rich cake) but only managed one, and barely. I felt so impressed with myself and even better I did not feel the old feelings of "oh my gosh I must eat it all!" Anyway so many good changes. I am really grateful!

Well done you, that's quite an achievement. It's amazing how your appetite changes too isn't it. I'm like you and definitely have smaller portions than I used to...how exciting this "diet" is!
Oh how exciting that you can see the goal in sight. Fabulous also about these appetite/craving changes we all seem to be receiving. Such positive benefits. Congratulations
