Yeeha!
14 Oct 2014, 00:23
After not fasting for some months and stacking the weight on despite watching my diet and exercising like a maniac, due, in part I am sure, to high stress levels brought on by selling and buying a house and trying to move and study at the same time...oh and work, I have done three fasts and lost 2.6kg!!
I am very happy and inspired to continue. My goal was to try fasting again until the end of the month when I go on a quick trip to Bali. But if things keep on going this way, I will most certainly continue.
Thanks to all the posters on the forums...even though I was only lurking, you have all inspired me to get back to this way of eating :victory:

That is great Mousie, I hope that your stress levels have lifted, it seems to be something that afflicts a few of us struggling to shift a few kgs.
Fingers crossed for you!

What a great re-start for you :D Keeping up with the fasts will put you in good stead for your Bali trip - enjoy! - and hopefully you will still be in the frame of mind to resume fasting on your return. Safe travels! :)

Thanks everyone for the good wishes. I still have 2 and a half weeks until we go. It's only for 5 days so by my reckoning I will only miss one fast.
I am hoping that the fasting will help with my joint problems both from a weight perspective and an anti inflammatory perspective. I have mild arthritis in a couple of joints and for the last 12 months been suffering from tendinitis in my hip. This is impacting on what I like to do...play golf. So if it helps I will be even more ecstatic.
