Delighted or Disappointed?

You've got to be kidding me!!

So I fasted on Tuesday and am fasting today. Little cheats on Tuesday because I was ravenous but ended up around 800 calories total so not a total failure. Stepped on the scale on Wednesday morning expecting to at least have MAINTAINED my weight from last week and guess what?? UP TWO POUNDS???

I know it's not real. I know I shouldn't be upset. I know it is just water fluctuation. I know! But it still is really disheartening!!

My official weekly weigh is tomorrow morning so I'm hoping that 2 pounds has gone away and taken a friend with it so I'm down a pound this week (that's the goal).
Hang in there Pumisio! The scales can be our friend and foe. I've learnt that I'll often have a week if gain before a week of big loss - no idea why, (water retention?) but that's a pattern that I've got used to over time.

All the best
Thanks Otter. And congrats on your goal!
 That sneaky look could cause disaster!!!
So depressing so basically don't do it again but more importantly please don't ruin today hang on in there and give this WOL/WOE a real chance because it will weave its magic on you I usually say give it one month so please try to do that.
Hi:

Please read this for some guidance on what to expect - it might help: post71147.html#p71147

Good Luck!
I laughed out loud simcoeluv! Thank you for that!
Best of luck with the weigh-in tomorrow!

:)
Yippee! Those 2 pounds did go and took another .8 with them so that's fine by me. Thanks for the encouragement!
