Fasting today?

Every day there will be a new topic in this forum for today's fasters to chat & support each other.
Please don't make extra threads in here besides the daily fasting threads, if you've got a question please post it in the relevant forum or ask in today's 'Fasting Today' thread, thank you.

I hope all fasters have a good day. It's mentally satisfying and I'm at it as usual on a Friday.
However, I notice how few are posting generally these days. See latest @Julianna.Rivers thread on the forum.

I'm not fasting today as out to lunch with friends, it's half term so i think that's why it may be a bit quieter.
Will be back next week though.
Good luck Friday fasters, that'll be the DODOers, and many 4.3ers also.
I wasn't going to last night as not in the mood, but feeling OK today, so going to give it a try. It's funny how I always can't seem to face it the night before, but on the day just get on with it!

Good luck to all :clover:
I'm in for my usual Friday 4:3. Ho hum.

Peaceful (appetite-wise) fasting to all of us doing this today. :clover:
My OH & I are joining in for our usual Friday fast after rather haphazard eating yesterday going to see a film on at 5-0pm that rather threw out supper time. I'm off for a massage now so I hope my stomach doesn't rumble loudly
I hope you all have a good day. It's grey & cloudy here in Sussex with more heavy rain expected.
I am in with you. I have done two haphazard fasts (800cals Monday & Wednesday) and completly overindulged yesterday that I have decided to try a strict (below 500) fast today. Still early hours, but so far feeling fine. Next week I want to go back to two strict fasts per week again and get back into a good fasting rhythm. Doing haphazard fasts, even if I do more of them, is not good for my mind as I don't get the full sense of achievement making it easy for me to become sloppy and fall off the wagon.

I have still not regained my pre-Christmas comfortable wiggle room and still hovering just above my maintenance weight.
Blimey, there aren't many of us at all today! I don't recognise ANY DODOers...and my buddy has escaped the fast!!
I'm fasting. Looking forward to 6ish when I can finally tuck into something warm. @Egduf your avator always makes me feel so cold!! Image
Good luck you Feisty Friday Fasters and enjoy replenishing on Sat with some delicious foods! X

Its just such a joy isn't it. One of life's little luxuries. Trouble is, you can spend all day looking forward to a meal...and its gone in moments...Image
I really do think the only time i feel really happy and content is when i am just about to tuck in.. X
Oh I'm just the same. Why is that d'you think? Image
I'm in as well today. Came home from work hungry and tired so has a small bowl of porridge. I have a moroccan veg and quinoa ready meal for dinner later.
I fasted Monday and Wednesday and today is what I think of as a 1/2 fast. Instead of sticking to 500 cal, I'll break my fast with a regular dinner. Well I will if my husband is home to eat with me. If I'm on my own, I may stick with a regular fast day. Now I'm off to see if I can get the snow blower going and clear that driveway. (So not looking forward to it. /end whinge) Good luck all! :clover:
